JS’s 7.1/4”g ‘Lion’ chassis has grown since last year, the boiler though not shown is on the way.
Much humorous discussion took place as to where the lead was to be secreted!

LD brought the GNR tender for his Stirling single-wheeler.

He is greatly saddened that the engine driving wheel slips despite advice on altering rear axle springing and application of ballast.

TA brought his radio-controlled ‘Man in a Boat’ and demonstrated the flexibility of the rowing action.

Much appreciative comments were made of wife Daphne’s effort in making a knitted jersey for the rower!

BS brought a beautiful 1.1/2” scale Allchin Traction Engine ‘Royal Chester’ which he had built a few years ago.

JO presented a rotating frame in which was mounted the chassis of an LBSC 5”g LNWR ‘Jumbo’.

DW showed his 4-4-2 ‘Maisie’ loco with a clad boiler that should be a good looker when completed.

GM showed his entry into model making with the first components, stretchers from Model Laser, for his 5”g Class 2 loco.

BH brought along a Multifix toolpost for his Myford lathe to demonstrate modifications to improve the rigidity of tool mounting. (Foreground)

No doubt at all – WMES has got talent!!
