Where are you up to? September 2016

On Thursday 15th September the hall at Thornton Hough W.I. was host to a splendid display of members’ work which showed how much care and effort had been put into the exhibits since this time last year.

All of the exhibitors should be very proud of the result of their skills. The display was witnessed by only 15 of the membership, those not there missed a great opportunity to learn so much from hearing of the difficulties/procedures to be overcome in producing such fine work. The fact that some models are being made or considered for 7.1/4” gauge is brought about by the advent of a 7.1/4” gauge becoming available at the raised track.
